February 16, 2017
After a long break from posting to my blog, I’m back. I might even start sending out the monthly newsletter again. There’s a great deal happening that I’m excited to share with you … just not all at once. Four workshops have been added to my 2017 schedule. These may (or may not) be the only workshops I teach in 2017. I’m cutting back on my teaching in order to focus on my own plein air painting as well as studio oil paintings based on the layering of images seen in window reflections.
The first workshop is coming up SOON! I’ll be teaching at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts on April 1st and 2nd.
The other three workshops are in Wales, Uk! I’ll be returning to Wales in October to teach again at The Court Cupboard Craft Gallery in Abergavenny and two new locations; Chapel Cottage Studio & Gallery (four miles outside of Abergavenny) and Swansea Print Workshop in Swansea. I’m looking forward to painting with the wonderful artists I met last year and to meet so many more inspiring artists. Perhaps I can twist the arm of one or two to paint with me in the Black Mountains of Monmouthshire.
