A two hour discussion on what to pack, what not to pack and how to make your own mini artist’s travel kit, followed by an outdoor demonstration of sketching in ink and watercolor with minimal supplies.
I travel to teach and sketch, exploring urban, rural and mountainous landscapes as well sketching the people who inhabit them. Join me as I share my choices of art supplies, clothing, toiletries and electronics whether traveling for a weekend or a month. Stay after class to watch me demonstrate my approach to painting and sketching while traveling. All registered participants will have the opportunity to win my demonstration painting. Register before October 1st and receive a mini Altoid tin palette that includes empty paint pans and two mixing wells (to be handed out during the discussion)
