January 1, 2018 – Building the art demo video library and offering online classes.
Thank you to everyone who has followed my journey in the past and to those of you who continue to follow my journey as an artist both at home in my studio and while out exploring the nooks and crannies of the world. Your feedback reassures me that by sharing my enthusiasm for playing daily with pen and brush I inspire others to bring joy into their own lives by simply making marks on paper or canvas.
For me, 2018 will be a year of tying up loose ends, completing or eliminating unfinished projects and fine-tuning my methods of sharing my process of drawing and painting through videos. I hope you enjoy the two part videos inspired by the unfinished paintings of Betty Stroppel.
Part I was edited down to 5 1/2 minutes from a 50 minute session.
Part II was edited down to seven minutes from a fifty-five minute session. The first part of the demo is in real time, the latter part is sped up.
I appreciate all feedback on my videos. Please tell me what works and what doesn’t work for you so that I can continue to improve my filming and editing methods.
If there is something you would like me to review or to demonstrate, let me know and I will make sure to create a video in response to your requests.
Thank you! Happy New Year!
