Managing time is a challenge for every artist I know. Setting, shifting and re-evaluating priorities is crucial to using my time wisely.
One major time-gobbler is putting together new bodies of large work for exhibition. I’ve decided to take a break from that area of my life for a while. Another issue is clutter in the studio, well over a thousand small paintings in boxes and on shelves. I put two and two together … I don’t often present small paintings in galleries and I’m not planning on having any solo shows in the near future where I might hang a small painting. That means I can eliminate “gallery pricing” on my small paintings and offer them for half the price on my website and on DailyPaintworks.com where I have an additional online gallery and offer paintings at auction on a regular basis. I also list all of my upcoming workshops on my gallery page at DPW. I am hoping that my inventory in the studio will shrink and I will have more room to breathe … and paint!

I do my best to add a new painting every two or three days. I offer more here than I do on my website store; the paintings are mostly ink and watercolor; dala art, mandalas, musicians, botanicals and still life. Let me know what you like and I will be happy to add it to the collection of paintings for sale!
