Exercise Four – Part Five – Four Strokes
Only two hundred more little drawings to create. At this point you have either abandoned the exercise completely or you have embraced it, trusting that it is worth the time to complete it.
You know the routine…. same as Exercise Four – Part One.
Experiment with making strokes of different sizes and shapes within the same drawing. Vary the thickness and the mass. Keep them separate, overlap them. Notice the variety of negative space shapes that are created by your strokes.
