Day One in Bristol, UK – photographs and sketches from September 30, 2016
I left Paris and flew to Bristol on the evening of September 29, 2016, not knowing if I had a place to stay though I had booked a room for three nights in a private home in Bedminster through airBnB. My hosts’ email address was expired and my phone messages remained unanswered. When I arrived on their doorstep, in the dark of night, I was relieved to be invited in and shown to my upstairs room. Early the next morning, after sketching the view through my window, I set out to explore Bristol. First stop … Eddie’s Coffee Lounge.
