One image always leads to another.
The Polyhedra led to the flexigons. The mandalas has led to the Zendalas (that aren’t really Zendalas) What is important to me is that I’ve found another format to present to students to explore color schemes, color mixing and design while improving drawing skills. My students in Santa Rosa will be the first guinea pigs for this wonderfully exciting exercise….. (I don’t have a name to call it… hopefully someone will help me out and come up with a good name since it isn’t an official Zendala or Mandala). I don’t really care what it’s called…. it works for me and I think it will work for my students.

Hi, I’m Nancy Roberts friend and have your color game. I really want to take the class on Mandala’s in Santa Rosa on Monday, Nov. 17th. Nancy and I want to both take it. I love them and they sort of remind me of looking through a kaleidoscope.
Lynn, I have just posted the Mandala workshop on the website store and you may now register. Here is the link: . See you in November!
Oh Chris! I love these with all of my heart!
Nancy, I’ve been thinking about your tool collection and contemplating how it might transform in a mandala. I’m glad you like these. They are soooo much fun.
Yes, I love my vintage tools. Great idea to work them into mandalas. For your new series, what about the name “Orbtangles”?
These are beautiful! What a wonderful idea – I think I could do this and not feel overwhelmed. Thank you for the inspiration!
Let me know how it goes…. I think you will love creating these small gems.
