December 2013!
I awoke with “reflections” being the theme of the day.
It’s that time of year to reflect on the past and re-evaluate what I want to create in the future. This applies to my daily life, my goals as a mate, mother, friend and artist. I am also reflecting on what I will post online. How can I use posting time efficiently to give readers what they most desire? I’m sure my readers are as diverse as my work. Since I will be posting less often, I would like the images and information to be as relevant as possible. Without feedback, I don’t know what you have liked in the blog and newsletter, and what you find of less interest. The various categories you might give me feedback on are: Ink and watercolor sketchbook drawings; En plein air sketches and paintings; Studio Abstract Paintings; Exercises; Tools & Techniques.
.
Thanks in advance for your feedback, either on the categories I’ve listed or on anything else you might like to see me post. I hope to offer information that will boost your painting and drawing in 2014!

Suitcase on the Cedar Chest …. Drawn with ink, followed by watercolor. Both Tom and I travel often. Either a black or a burgundy suitcase usually resides beside the aloe plant. Morning drawings reflect my daily life in a way that words cannot.
